4. Installation Guidelines
Clean the substrate and remove dust, grease, loose materials and sharp projections.
Repair cracks and surface irregularities as required.
Apply a compatible bitumen primer according to the manufacturer’s instructions.
Align the membrane rolls and prepare the overlaps.
Use the specified torch-application method with appropriate fire-safety precautions.
Seal all joints, edges and details according to the approved installation guide.
Inspect the completed waterproofing layer before covering it with subsequent construction layers.
Safety: Torch application involves open flames. Installation should be carried out by trained workers with suitable fire protection and site precautions.
