MN TLC plate coated with a soft layer of unmodified silica gel 60. The thickness of the layer for analytical plates is 0.25 mm. For preparative purposes (PLC), different layer thicknesses are available (0.5 mm, 1 mm, and 2 mm). For 2 mm preparative layers, a slightly coarser material is used. Available with different UV indicators – manganese-activated zinc silicate with green fluorescence for short-wave UV (254 nm); special inorganic fluorescent pigment with blue fluorescence for long-wave UV (366 nm). SIL G is available on glass plates, aluminum sheets, and polyester sheets in different sizes.
