The TMT5360011 is the compact 2000 counts meter. It reads AC and DC voltage up to 600V, plus resistance and DC current, so it covers wiring, socket and continuity checks. It also distinguishes live from neutral, tests diodes, and holds a reading on the display while you write it down.
However, the TMT5310002 is the 6000 counts meter for heavier work. Besides voltage, current and resistance, it measures capacitance and frequency. It also has non-contact voltage detection, so you can check a line before you touch it. Because of that, panel builders, maintenance teams and motor technicians usually take this model.
